From December 18th to 20th, 2024, Emzee Football Club proudly hosted its much-anticipated annual soccer camp, titled "Kickers and Savers 2024 Football Camp". Held at the scenic Xpark Sunway Iskandar Puteri, the camp brought together young football enthusiasts from both Malaysia and Singapore for three days of intense learning, skill-building, and fun.

Camp Highlights

Structured and Dynamic Curriculum

Over the three-day camp, participants were immersed in a robust program featuring six key football topics:

1. Passing and Ball Control – Enhancing precision and teamwork.
2. Ball Shielding and Scanning – Developing spatial awareness and protection techniques.
3. Dribbling and Change of Direction – Fostering agility and adaptability.
4. Defending – Teaching positioning and tactical discipline.
5. Attacking – Encouraging creativity and assertiveness in forward play.
6. Shooting and Finishing – Focusing on accuracy and composure in front of goal.

With two training sessions per day, participants engaged in intensive drills and game scenarios that emphasized not only technical skill but also strategic thinking and teamwork.

Focus on Development

A key objective of the camp was to instill the importance of:

• Awareness – Understanding game dynamics and anticipating plays.
• Fast Thinking – Making quick decisions under pressure.
• Decisive Play – Acting confidently in critical moments.

These developmental aspects were seamlessly integrated into every session, ensuring participants left with a deeper understanding of the game.

Standout Performers and Recognition

The camp celebrated the efforts and progress of all participants, with special recognition given to two outstanding players:

• Fabio Poh, a 10-year-old from Singapore, was awarded Best Camp Participant for his exceptional performance, dedication, and attitude. He received the coveted KL Super League Edition Team Match Jersey.
• Mohammad Zyed Mohaideen, a 12-year-old also from Singapore, secured second place and was presented with the KL Super League Edition Team Training Jersey.

Both players exemplified the spirit of the camp, demonstrating skill, focus, and a passion for learning.

Parental Feedback and Success

The camp was met with resounding approval from parents, who praised the comprehensive training and the emphasis on skill development. Many noted their satisfaction with the professionalism of the coaching staff and the tangible improvements in their children’s abilities.

At the closing ceremony, Emzee Football Club’s Head Coach, Coach Mike, addressed the attendees while distributing certificates of participation. He shared:
